2022 DCCCN Rally No.02 – Austwick, North Yorkshire

Thursday 14th April 2022


Campsite Bar
There have a cosy on site bar at the campsite with wood burner,
real ale, cider and larger on draft, they were socialising to catch up
with a circle of members and friends.

Friday 15th April 2022

Unfortunately there were no bus service on Good Friday,
we did enjoyed to walk visiting a local at Austwick.
It is a village on the edge of the Yorkshire Dale National Park,
with picturesque traditional stone built houses.


Saturday 16th April 202

Skipton
With a beautiful day, some of them went to to the magnificent Yorkshire Dales
of the country to visit the charming market town and Canal basic in Skipton.
With its famous 900 year old castle, romantic ruined priory and historic cobbled High Street,
Skipton is endlessly rich both in history and outstanding natural beauty.

Easter Eggs Competitions
They decorated for Easter Eggs designed competitions – the more creative the better.
There were chocolate prizes up for grabbed, so as they might expected,
the competition was joyful by painting the colourful.

Men’s 7  Miles Walking
According to the map shown above,
the men were walking around the red route
and back to the campsite, it took over four hours.


Games for the ladies

Meanwhile the ladies played to guess what objects
by feeling the 12 bags, where they hung each of the units.
Ladies had to answer what the objects inside those bags were.

The Quiz Games
To follow the evening game at the bar to play the quiz game.
The intelligent winners were J Lippett & B Satchwell.

Bank Holiday Monday 18th  April 2022

DCCC North – Open Meeting
The meeting at 10am, took one hour and 15 minutes.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no longer the organiser
for DCCC North as Brian Marsden has stepped down, so DCCCuk keeps
observing the DCCC North till a new role comes ASAP.

Coffee Morning
It takes place in the morning after an open meeting, and is usually
intended to farewell their last day of enjoyable weekend at Austwick.
