Message from Riverside for DCCCuk AGM

ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR THOSE WHO ARE GOING – DCCCuk AGM.

Dear DCCCuk membership,

Thank you for stay with us at Riverside Park, Stratford-on-Avon.

Whilst holiday stays are now permissible under Government guidelines, we are still required to ensure staff and visitors follow strict procedures to help to safeguard you as well as ourselves and other visitors to Stratford Parks.

As a business we take health and safety very seriously and have set out the measures below to ensure you are entering a safe environment free to relax and enjoy your time with us.

Before Arrival
Prior to your arrival we respectfully ask that you read the following information and respond to this email to confirm that you are happy to confirm and comply with the guidelines below:

  • Please confirm that you are not experiencing any symptoms of the virus, and that no one within your household is experiencing symptoms of the virus or has done in the last 14 days.
  • Please confirm that all members of your group arriving for your stay at Riverside Park are from the same household.
  • Social distancing measures of 1m + must be respected at all times unless from same household. We will not permit gatherings around holiday units of any more than 6 people.

If you are unable to confirm the above, we unfortunately will not be able to allow you to stay on the park.

Arrival  (After 10am)
On arrival at the park you will need to drive to the bottom of the drive where a warden will come and meet you at your vehicle so you can follow them in your vehicle to your designated space.

Toilet blocks
Our toilet / shower facilities will remain closed until further notice. You will need to have and use your facilities in your caravan / motorhome.

Communal facilities taps / waste / bins etc
When using the facilities on park like water taps / service point / waste disposal points, we ask that customers observe social distancing and to wear gloves and ensure you wash and sanitise your hands after use. These areas will be cleaned and sanitised throughout the day.

Bar and Restaurant
The bar and restaurant will be open offering a limited service and opening times.

River Taxis
Unfortunately, the River Taxis will not be running this season as we would not be able to achieve the government social distancing.

Children’s Play Areas
These will be open however children must be supervised at all times. Social distancing of 2 metres, if not 1 metre + should be adhered to. Customers use this facility at their own risk and we advise you wash your hands and sanitise after use.

Visitors
As per current guidelines only members of your household are permitted to stay or visit with you whilst on Riverside Park.

Spacing Distances for Caravans
All our pitches across our parks are large and spacious, enabling ample social distancing. However, we do ask that all guests follow our pitching instructions to make sure this is achieved between touring units. The space for each pitch has been measured to give the appropriate social distance. Please listen to the guidance given by the warden when you are sited on your pitch.

Safe Routes & Social Distancing
One-way systems will be established in some areas of the park to ensure social distancing can be complied with, for example, on narrow paths. We will ensure there is adequate signage in relation to social distancing. We ask that you adhere to the 1m + distancing guidelines.

Contact with Staff
We will advise customers not to approach maintenance staff working on the site and to contact the site via telephone 01789 292312 or email info@riversideparkstratford.co.uk

Information and Hygiene
We will be displaying signage around the parks to remind our guests about hygiene practices.

We are also continuing with our rigorous cleaning regime but we would advise that you bring your own PPE to use whilst servicing the facilities on your own unit.

Local community
We kindly ask that you respect social distance in all contacts outside the park. Local relationships are important to us all and some are understandably apprehensive about the potential impacts of returning visitors; they will need reassurance demonstrated by your thoughtfulness.

All key parts of these measures are underpinned by law, which sets out clearly what you must and must not do – every person in the country must continue to comply with this. The relevant authorities, including the police, have the powers to enforce the law – including through fines and dispersing gatherings.

We as a Park will also be enforcing the rules that the Government set above and will if required ask customers to leave site if it is known that the rules are not being adhered too.

We are confident that you will enjoy your stay at our beautiful park.
Thank you for your patience and understanding at this challenging time.

Riverside, Stratford-on-Avon
