6) 1994 DCCC North – Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Riverside Caravan Park

A town centre touring park, adjacent to the Worksop cricket ground, this four-acre site is surprisingly peaceful.
Access is difficult with a small bridge and sharp turn so large units will find this restrictive/impossible.
Riverside is within easy walking distance of the town centre shopping precinct,
and the Chesterfield Canal runs close to its northern side offering towpath walks and fishing.

Attractions in the area include Creswell Crags, Clumber Park, the Dukeries Cycle Trail,
Thoresby Park and Gallery, Mr Straw’s House, Rufford Mill Craft Centre and Country Park,
and Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield.
