DCCC North Rally No 6 for the weekend at the campsite,
Lady Heyes Touring Park in Frodsham, near Chester.
The last rally of the year 2022 of the DCCC North
We met up for the weekend, starting Thursday (Some on Friday) at Lady Heyes Touring Park.
The hardstanding pitches for us were nicely laid down and close by to each other for a bargain price.

Yummy, Yummy!
The weather was a chilly cold throughout the weekend
but didn’t put a damper on us all, as we are carrying on enjoying ourselves.
Frodsham
On Friday 11th, many of us went to Frodsham town centre for the day,
due to the availability of public transport (no service at the weekend).
The evening gathered was at the bar, within the site, chatting away
all evening and have outstayed their closing time by up to 2 hours!

Craft & Antique shops
On Saturday 12th was a day of leisure for us all to explore
the Antique shops, Craft shops, Cakes shops, Gift shops and café,
all within the Lady Heyes Touring Park which was an enjoyable day for us all.

Kenneth Lippett’s 70th birthday
Another surprise event occurred on that day. It was Kenneth Lippett’s 70th birthday.
His daughter Lucy drove at least 100 miles one way to surprise her Dad, joined us for the day.
Many of us was within the site gathered at the flag
for a minor briefing instead of Sunday morning as normally
do in the past and to surprise Kenneth, Lucy turned up within the gathering,
out of the blue and knocked him for six. Cakes were distributed to us all.

Again, we met up at the bar in the evening, to a warm welcome
by the lovely staff at the bar, again outstayed their closing time for another 2 hours.

Sunday Carvery Lunched
On Sunday 13th was a day of departure before 12 noon and enjoyed by us all
with the dry weather throughout, apart from strong wind and chilly cold.
Some of us stayed on to have the Sunday carvery lunch together
within the Lady Heyes Touring Park before parting for home.
