Greetings
Some members came and joined CDC to celebrating our 10th Anniversary,
and took some fun games with puzzles by two photos phrases to answer one word.

10th Anniversary Celebration
(Saturday 27th – 6pm)

Graham and Brenda Jones

They had prepared well to book the site and ordered the foods
to make this happened this weekend and we were brilliant enjoyed.
We thank you Graham & Brenda!

Celebration Cake
“Congratulations on achieving ten years of Central Deaf Camping”
DCCCuk provided us a celebration cake
that we ate them after our dinner meals as desserts.

Delighted!
Walked through in quaint Victorian pub with bare beams and the dinners were classic.
The staffs at Hockey & Jockey were pleasant and helpful.
The food was excellent everything was cooked perfectly and we had plenty.

Speeches by a team leader, Derek Berrisford
“Firstly to say that a message to incoming DCCCuk president, William Rowley,
he sent his many congratulations to CDC for our success in many years,
and we thank you, William.
Now anyone remember that some of them were at the first opened CDC rally
in Long Itchington at The Green Man that was a 10 years ago, and now they are here
with us – 10 years is a long time, but we hope you will be spending many more years with us
and we thank you for your incredible supporting and success!
i

The members were enjoyed themselves with the meals
and complimentary wines from CDC.

Friday 26th May

Atherstone
Some of them were walked from the site to the town of Atherstone
for their lunches and back here within a 8-mile circular walk.

Museum – A history about Artherstone
In the mini museum at Atherstone that we learnt  two things;
1) the town has a long street called Long Street,
there is a very famous street
for The Atherstone Ball Game is a “medieval football” game played annually
on Shrove Tuesday in the English town of Atherstone, Warwickshire.
(More information from Wikipedia:-  The Atherstone Ball Game)
2) there were many collieries mining in the Warwickshire Coalfield,
all collieries were closed because it did not meet its target and further
investment (£20 millions) was considered inappropriate and
the finally closed permanently in 1996.

Hoar Park Craft Village

From our site to the Hoar Park Shopping and Craft Village by walks
through the gorgeous Warwickshire countryside and
saw some traditional old farm tractors
passed our road with their hand waving.
This same road where one of our members, Brenda Jones was grown up.
When we arrived the Hoar Park Craft Village to browse the Garden Centre, Collectables & Antiques,
after the shopping we visited the tea room and enjoyed home-cooked lunches
or light refreshments and relaxing whilst taking in the spectacular
views of the Warwickshire countryside.

Mischief!
A playful misbehavior, especially on the part of children!

Great fun!
CDC will find one more site to be added for our camping,
when we get one, you will be informed.
