Constitution & Rules

 

1. Constitution
1.1)  The constitution shall belong to and be administered by the Deaf Camping & Caravanning Club North

2. Name
2.1)  The club shall be called Deaf Camping & Caravanning Club North, DCCC North or DCCCN.
2.2)  The club’s website address shall be called www.dcccuk.com/north. (Link: www.dcccuk.com/dcccn)

3. Aims and Objectives
3.1)  To provide social events for its members.
3.2)  To encourage DCCCN officers to take a leading role at a social event.
3.3)  The objective of a administrative meeting is to provide updates, deliver announcements, feedback, share information and participate in a team.
3.4)  To be effective, DCCCN meetings should have a detailed agenda, a time limit and a designated moderator.

4. Annual Open Meeting (AOM)
4.1)  AOM will be held when the membership will elect Officer(s) to manage the Club.
4.2)  The quorum for any meeting of the DCCCN Team shall be from three. (Team = Team leader / Co-Ordinator / volunteer / volunteers)
4.3)  Other objectives for things might covered at a meeting include:

…………..–  give feedback
…………..–  discuss ideas
…………..–  solve problems
…………..–  make collective decisions
…………..–  announcements of new promotions.
…………..–  ultimately reach its goal
…………..–  keep updating track of operations
…………..–  team communications

5. Duties
5.1)  Team leader – to organise and lead a officers, to give a casting vote in the event of unsure, to attend events to represent the DCCCN.
5.2)  Co-ordinator(s) – to take the minutes at each committee meeting, prepare an agenda, produce a signed copy for records, audit data of members, to prepare all paperwork for the AOM, to take the minutes for DCCCN’s AOM and produce signed copies for file.
5.3)  DCCCN Officials – to look after the finances and co-operate with Deaf Camping and Caravanning Club uk (DCCCuk).
5.4)  Rally marshal;
– to look after the entertainment, if required.
– to collect from the events, working with the Team leader and assist with duties.
– be prepared to step into any role in the event of absence or illness to replace position.
–  be displayed of our material such as a feather flag on sites.
5.5)  Site booking Co-Ordinator;
– to arrange and book rallies in advance and produce an annual set of events.
– to produce a event board for members.
– re-arrange events at short notice, inform members of cancellations, do site visits
– report to officials with updates co-operate with Deaf Camping and Caravanning Club uk (DCCCuk), and and Central Deaf Campers (CDC).

6. Membership
6.1)  Membership is renewable annually. All members must be fully subscribed to the Deaf Camping and Caravanning Club uk.
6.2)  It is each member’s responsibility to ensure their membership is renewed.
6.3)  Members are required to adhere to the DCCCuk Rules when rallying and using social Media.

7. Structure
7.1)   The team will consist of ;
–  Team leader
–  Co-Ordinator – role of Rally marshal
–  Site Booking co-ordinator
7.2)  The team will communicate/facetime occasionally via what’sApp / email / zoom / others.
7.3)  Nominations will be on pitch or email to nominate 3 days before the AOM. All nominees can be proposed by email or text.
7.4)  Any motions (BSL/English) for the AOM must be with the Co-ordinator, in writing at least 7 days before the AOM. Further details from the Co-Ordinator on request.
7.5)  Voting – Only members who attend the AOM and are registered with the DCCCuk in accordance of the 28 days ruling are allowed to vote, speak or nominate. One vote, per person, per position for Officers.

8. Finance
8.1)  This shall be administrated within Deaf Camping and Caravanning Club North (DCCCN).

9. General
9.1)  The Deaf Camping & Caravanning Club North (DCCCN) accepts and are committed to work within the guidelines, rules & regulations of the Deaf Camping and Caravanning Club uk (DCCCuk’s constitution).

10. Rules
10.1)  The rules are available in the DCCCuk’s website or to the Co-Ordinator.
