Newgale Campsite

With the 2 mile stretch of Newgale Beach’s golden sands

a 2-minute walk across the road, those looking for
water sport activities such as surfing, canoeing and kayaking
will find themselves spoilt for choice.

The Duke of Edinburgh Pub
The 2-minutes walk from your campsite to the pub

is the Duke of Edinburgh which caters
for all with its bar meals and drinks.
(Dogs are welcome.)

Newgale Beach
A  2 minute walk across the road from the campsite is Newgale Beach,
famed for being one of the longest sandy beaches in the UK and for its surfing.
At low tide, it is an awesome sight, wet suits and surfing equipment can be hired
in the surf shop adjacent to the Duke Of Edinburgh Pub.

Solva Habour
This is also another good surfing beach on the outskirts of St David’s.

Solva Beach is a lovely coastal walk of 5.5 miles to Solva from Newgale.
Solva is a quaint village with a harbour, several pubs, coffee shops and gift shops.

St David’s Cathedral
St David’s is a city and a community with
a cathedral in Pembrokeshire, Wales, lying on the River Alun.
It is the final resting place of Saint David, Wales’s patron saint, and named after him.
St David’s is the United Kingdom’s smallest city in terms of population and urban area.
Pop around the back to The Refectory you’ll find a beautiful,
calming space that’s designed to give you a bit of time for contemplation.
The city itself boasts shops, cafes and pubs together with a well-established tourism office.

Tenby
This popular town has beautiful beaches and lots of shops and restaurants to choose from.

The individually painted terraced seaside houses are extremely picturesque.
Tenby has been named as one of the prettiest towns in the UK.

Fishguard
It is in a deep valley where the River Gwaun
meets the sea, hence the Welsh name for Fishguard.
It is a typical fishing village with a short tidal quay.
The settlement stretches along the north slope of the valley.

These are permitted providing they are lifted off the ground, under control and the grass is not marked.
Fire pits are available to rent and logs are for sale at reception. Disposable BBQs are NOT allowed.

It is a free service, and is provided as is.
The wifi best coverage is around the reception area.
At busy times the speed can slow down, and the connection or availability is not guaranteed at any time.

On Site Catering
Our van provides scrumptious wood fired pizzas, welsh burgers and McCain chips, ice creams and hot and cold drinks.
