Thrills and spills from the 2023 Cheese Roll at Cooper’s Hill
in Brockworth, Gloucestershire, continuing this local tradition for another year,
you will see this year on Monday 27th May 2024!
The first race starts at 12pm to take part in the event
with downhill races for men and women and
one uphill race for children on the day.

Where do you park for Coopers Hill cheese roll?
Once you get to Brockworth, they recommend parking in the Toby Carvery Brockworth car park,
(Postcode: GL3 4PH), & walking to the hill from there as you find various roads are closed for the event,
but it’s about a 30 minute walk from here to a place to watch.

Where is the annual cheese rolling events takes place in Coopers Hill?
It is held at Cooper’s Hill, near Brockworth, Gloucester.
Competitors chase a Double Gloucester cheese down the 200-yard hill.
According to Visit Gloucester, the first written evidence of cheese rolling
is found from a message written to the Gloucester town crier in 182
